We chose it for its story: issued in the very first year of the SCG members’ medallion series, it carries the patina of a century of summers and scorecards, and the quiet dignity of an era when cricket gatherings were social rituals. Perfect for the collector who loves provenance, ceremony, and jewellery with a genuine, romantic past.

Maker: Bowman Ltd, London

Product: Sydney Cricket Ground members’ medallion / badge

Metal: Bronze (patinated) — please request confirmation if a specific assay is required.

Era: Circa 1900–1901 (first year of issue)

Size: Please request exact measurements; available on enquiry.

Condition: Excellent for age — clear details to the obverse/reverse, attractive even patina consistent with age and use; minor surface marks commensurate with a 125-year-old piece.
